Keeping track of the status of changes is part of a strong foundation in construction project administration and reporting. Maintaining an accurate change order log can greatly assist with that. By tracking construction changes you’ll be able to identify trends and understand better on how they are affecting your project.
This change order log will help you in tracking all of your construction changes and keeping an up to date registry of them. The log is in microsoft excel and includes the following fields:
- Change Number
- Consultant Reference (ie ccn or site instruction number)
- Change Order Number
- Description
- Issued Date (when you received it from the consultant)
- Quoted Date (when you issued it)
- Approved Date (when it was approved)
- Status (pricing, quoted or approved)
- Comments
